Sunday, June 9th we left town. Tim has the bus all cleaned up and brought it home for Linda to pack on Saturday. Of course, it rained and got the bus dirty. That wasn't the end of the rain. Linda finished packing late Saturday. Our dear friend and neighbor, Roseanne Petit came over Sunday morning to go over some things to do while she helps watch the house and garden during our absence. Also, we got to look at some great pictures of her first grandchild, Molly. Molly was born May 17th in Connecticut. Roseanne had spent the last couple of week's there helping the new parents. Molly is adorable.
We left our driveway about 10:45 a.m. on Sunday headed for Tim's cuz, Don & Pam Pumphrey, farm near Quincy just west of Tallahassee. Around Ocala, we started to run into intermittent rain showers. Sometimes sprinkles and sometimes heavy rain. This lasted until we were east of Tallahassee, then it stopped.
The farm came into view about 4:30 p.m. and after 300 miles. We were glad to see the Pumphrey's and be off the road. We went to a wonderful dinner with Don & Pam at a nearby lake restaurant.

Tim, Linda, Don & Pam |
Don & Pam love animals. They have horses big and small, rabbits, pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, a dog and recently a cat. The newest additions are two ducks, Ping and Pong.

Some of the animals get up close and personal. See the picture below.

Don & Pam have a great place for us to park our bus with 50 amp electric and water next to the barn.

Don has a special talent with animals. I think he must be a "cat whisperer". Our cat, Muffin, is not a lap cat and she doesn't really like to be held. Well, check out this next picture.

Yep, that's Muffin on Don's lap |
I don't think Muffin would have ever left Don's lap. She was completely content. Our time was too short with Don & Pam, but we had more adventures on Monday and Tuesday.
